Descend is a survival horror game where cosmic horrors barrage the player as he tries to survive a seemingly never ending night and uncover the aliens' ancient secrets.
During this project, I worked with a team of 5 other artists. I worked as the art director, lead concept artist, level designer, HUD artist, and primary texture artist.
The following work showcases examples of my set-dressing and environment art, hand painted textures, concepts for the creatures, and the idol that serves as the player HUD to display their resource levels, layouts for multiple final floor plans throughout the design process, as well as an illustration for the games website.
